I was passing nearby so called in on the off chance, there were a few windsurfers out but none planing. There were some white horses that made me think I may get planing with the 8.5m. It took ages to rig as I had never used the 8.5m before, in the end I had it very poorly rigged but just made do. By the time I launched there were only very occasional white horses so no planing for me. Had a nice session but with no planing it was a bit boring so called it a day after an hour. It was good to get out again though.
